The Christ Church United Methodist High School Youth chose the verse “Don’t Let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set a Gody example,” (I Timothy 4:12) to be their guide when planning the 2010 Mission for Wellness fundraiser. We will be traveling for a week helping to rebuild homes for the needy and have already served with Habitat for Humanity, as well as United Methodist Relief Centers here at home and across the nation. We have always been told that we have strong work ethic and a desire to help others shines through all of us. We come back from these trips over the past 20 years with memories and faith experiences that are life changing.
Mission Wellness is a fundraiser to help raise money for the youth to go to Arizona this summer to rebuild homes and lives. The fundraiser is a weekend long and will have a little something for everybody. From a spaghetti dinner, to a 2 mile walk, to 5k run and a family tennis tournament the opportunities are endless.
